Super Eagles 1-0 win a huge relief - Eguavoen

Super Eagles interim coach Augustine Eguavoen expressed relief after the team's 1-0 win against Libya in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers. Although he expected more goals than what he saw, he praised the team for manoeuvring Libya's defensive tactics. Dele Bashiru's late goal in the 87th minute secured Nigeria seven points in group D. Eguavoen plans to re-strategize for the upcoming match against Libya, while Williams Troost Ekong assured fans the team will qualify for the AFCON in Morroco.
